Architectural Press
 http://www.architecturalpress.com/

Now part of Elsevier, Architectural Press upholds a long and prestigious history of publishing a broad range of books, from classical theory to new technology, and describes itself as providing "invaluable technical information for architects and designers, both student and professional". Oddly, the ability to browse books by theme, or search the catalogue by author, title, keyword or ISBN, seems to have been removed, but the site still has some worthwhile content, including sample chapters, book reviews and video interviews with authors. [GAS, 28 Mar 2011].

Pevsner Architectural Guides to England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales
 http://www.pevsner.co.uk/

The famous Pevsner Architectural Guides - originally published by Penguin Books, now by Yale University Press London - were begun in 1951 by the architectural historian Sir Nikolaus Pevsner (1902-83). This comprehensive website, launched in 1998 by the Buildings Books Trust, is regularly updated to provide the information on the latest titles to be published, forthcoming events and work in progress. It is rich, nicely illustrated and well designed, featuring a history of the series, plus full details of the counties and cities covered. [GAS, 31 Aug 2006].
