Cultural Industries Quarter Agency
 http://www.ciq.org.uk/

The Cultural Industries Quarter (CIQ) Agency was created in 2000 "to maximise the potential of the CIQ and help Sheffield's creative industries grow by working with a wide range of local partners". Today, the CIQ is an area of around three quarters of a square mile in the heart of Sheffield city centre, "home to the most concentrated cluster of creative production in the region". As well as background about the agency, the site offers news, events and coverage of current projects, and has a very professional air; however, the system of navigation is unnecessarily complex and counter-intuitive. Manchester's Northern Quarter
 http://www.poptel.org.uk/nqn/

The Northern Quarter Network is part of the Manchester Institute For Popular Culture (MIPC) at Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU), with the aims of "contributing to the growth of the Northern Quarter; stimulating Internet/Web activity in the NQ; advising individuals/businesses on Net/IT issues in the NQ; and developing and maintaining a website about the NQ and related issues". Highlights of the site include background about the NQ itself, downloadable reports, and a 'Hotspots Guide' to cultural quarters and districts elsewhere. However, the site no longer has its own domain at nqn.org.uk, and shows no sign of still being maintained. [GAS, 10 May 2006].

Remapping High Wycombe
 http://remappinghighwycombe.blogspot.com/

Remapping High Wycombe is a Public Art Project backed by the Arts Council South East Art Plus Award. The project is exploring the way people connect to their locality on a daily basis and how this is affected by regeneration and development. In the next phase of the project, the artists Cathy and John Rogers explain that "the remapping is to be undertaken in collaboration with community groups in High Wycombe by staging a psychogeograpical event, a walk, a ‘derive‘ within the boundary of the re-development area, the results of which will be used to animate the town centre with a temporary art installation. It is hoped that this work will feed into the Consultation and Planning process for development projects in the area". Taking the form of a blog, the site provides an interesting and quirky account of the project's ongoing progression. [GAS, 7 Jul 2006].
