However, we do have a few basic guidelines concerning the use of the buttons and logos provided. Most importantly, we do ask that you refrain from cropping, stretching, changing the colours or otherwise modifying any of the graphics. If you would like a customised Sapling image to fit in with your site (e.g. in grayscale, or in a larger or smaller size), just let us know and we will happily create one for you.

Using the code above, the relevant Sapling logo will be hosted from www.sapling.info, and there is no need to copy the image to your own webspace. However, if you prefer to host the image yourself, that's absolutely fine - just copy and save the image, upload to your own webspace, and make sure you alter the code provided so that it points to wherever the image is stored in your own directory.
