Trulli for Sale in Apulia Italy

This site belongs to an Italian residential agency in Apulia (Puglia), specialising in historic, vernacular buildings of the area called 'trulli' - "ancient, little buildings made of stone, formed by a circular or square base and a dome-shaped roof, on top of which there is usually positioned a pinnacle". An attractively illustrated section explains what trulli are, while the main part of the site is devoted to trulli currently for sale, including properties already restored as well as those requiring restoration. The inclusion of an introduction to Apulia and the Itria Valley, and the copious use of images throughout the site, adds a richness that helps evoke the region's culture and atmosphere. However, the site's use of Flash is distracting and unnecessary. [GAS, 7 Jul 2006].
