Aimshare
 http://www.aimshare.com/

Aimshare describes itself as "a meeting-place for people with a common purpose". By placing a free advert on the site, users can find activity partners, "whether it is to have a game of tennis or golf on a quiet weekend or to find somebody to help crew your boat across the Atlantic". From the number of adverts, the site seems to be well-used; there is some spam, but the vast majority seem genuine postings. Ads are organised into sections covering Travel, Accommodation, Sports, Business, Leisure and Miscellaneous. Though much more than just a housing-related site, it is in this area that Sapling users are likely to find Aimshare most useful, with people looking to start co-operatives, self-build schemes or community projects. [GAS, 8 May 2006].
