The site's coverage is impressive - at the time of review it features more than 1,600 live jobs under the headings of Architecture (including urban design), Building Services, Construction, Civil and Structural Engineering, Facilities Management, Rail, Social Housing, Surveying, Town Planning and Water/Ground/Environment. Registered users can access a number of extra features, including job search, job alerts and company profiles. The site itself is well-designed, with intuitive navigation and good use of white space to create a modern, professional look. [GAS, 9 Sep 2006].

Established in 1986, HERA describes itself as "the leading agency working in the Housing Sector", originally set up by a Housing Association to find work for its tenants. More recently, in June 2004, the agency was acquired by FusionPeople Ltd. The site includes details of latest vacancies, though only 19 were listed at the time of Sapling's visit. Elsewhere, the menu promisingly flags up a 'Links' section, but disappoints when this turns out to be the (albeit very good) links page hosted by HERA's 'partner organisation' Property People (separately listed in Sapling).
