David Harber Sundials

Based in Oxfordshire and London, David Harber is an artist who draws inspiration from "the marking of time". He began making contemporary and traditional sundials in 1992 and has expanded in recent years to include contemporary sculpture and water features. The site was beautifully designed when Sapling first visited in 2005, and has now been improved even further, sporting an interface that is clean and classy. It features high-quality photographs of the company's products, as well as lots of background information on the company, manufacturing techniques, installation, plinths and personalisation. There are also sizeable news and resources sections, including links to other sundial-related sites. A lovely site to visit, awarded a Sapling Commendation. [GAS, 25 Oct 2006].

IOTA Garden and Home

IOTA supplies design-led products for the contemporary garden. All products are designed in-house, and are exclusive to IOTA, with ranges including natural stone planters, contemporary garden art in stainless steel and acrylic, and water features. Customers include industry-leading garden centres, design professionals and contractors, and IOTA also sells direct to the public through its site. IOTA's site is extremely visual, and also deceptively large. Each product category, and each individual product, is represented by an Image Gallery, with up to ten in-situ product images per gallery. An additional gallery on the home page highlights the breadth of IOTA's product offer, and is constantly updated with new product and seasonal offers. The site's Commercial Enquiries section is currently under development, but will shortly include technical specification sheets on each product range, as well as a range of download options. Highly visual and rapidly-evolving, IOTA's website is dynamic yet elegant - definitely worth a visit. [GAS, 29 Jan 2008].
