Jobdrop is a useful and free to access site that allows users to search and apply online for jobs in their local area, covering a wide range of categories including architecture and engineering and art, design and media. Users can browse available jobs or submit their CV - Jobdrop then process it, matching the person's skills with the available jobs. The site is obviously very new, and no jobs were actually listed yet when Sapling visited. However, the site's interface and functionality are great - sleek and easy to use - and bode well for Jobdrop's success. [GAS, 6 Jun 2006].

At Sapling's time of review, the site claims to have crawled 50,000 corporate webpages, and found more than 7,000 jobs. Users can browse the available vacancies by US state, and once registered, can post resumes, setup automated email alerts and access direct employer job listings. [GAS, 4 Oct 2005].

According to its homepage, My Best Jobs contains "over 1000 pages of job offers, job tips, jobs strategies, and job secrets for Internet best jobs, online advertising and career builder promotion" in the United States. Users can browse jobs by theme, with sections including - among others - Construction, Design and Engineering. Elsewhere, features such as tips on writing cover letters and CVs/resumes are really rather useful. The design of the site is OK, with information on specific vacancies displayed quite clearly. However, the poor quality graphics and overuse of superlatives detract from what would otherwise be a reasonably professional image. [GAS, 5 Aug 2006].
