'Plan Ahead' is the online magazine of the US-based Society for College and University Planning (SCUP), established in 1965, and the only association focused on the promotion, advancement, and application of effective planning in higher education. Although the term 'planning' is used here in the wider context of 'strategic planning' for the future of higher education, the site does have a strong emphasis on resources and links which relate to architecture, design and building in the higher education sector. Planum - The European Journal of Planning Online

Planum calls itself "the European online journal entirely devoted to planners", and is a vast and impressive resource. The site features articles, images, videos, reviews, the archive of the European biennials, websites' presentations (more than 5000 listed), news, journals (more than 6000 articles listed), "all for planners and for the whole community of people involved in city development and environmental protection". Moreover, Planum is a truly international affair, with eight European nations represented on its editorial board. The design of the site is professional, albeit with a slightly quirky menu system. Overall, Planum is so rich in content, it's difficult for a description to do it justice - the best thing is to let your mouse explore its depths, and savour the delights within.
