Ecosustainable Hub - Ecology Environment Sustainability
 http://www.ecosustainable.com.au/

Ecosustainable Hub describes itself as a "one-stop connection to resources and tools on ecology, environment and sustainability... facilitating cooperation, networking and ethical developments". As well as information about its mission and scope, Ecosustainable Hub features an excellent section of project links; an Environment Sustainability Exchange, with tools, products, services and links; a forum section, including a message board; and the main links section featuring resources and tools on ecology, environment and sustainability. The site is slickly designed, and the use of images for navigation is an effective device. If there is a criticism, it is that sometimes there is almost too much information to digest at once - nonetheless, this is certainly an invaluable site for anyone interested in the environment, ecology or sustainability, awarded a Sapling Commendation. Nottingham Express Transit (NET)
 http://www.nottinghamexpresstransit.com/

NET describes itself as "the modern tram system which will help ease congestion, enhance the environment, promote regeneration and improve access - all of which will help to build on Nottingham's vibrancy and booming economy". Opened in March 2004, Line 1 of the system runs from Hucknall, through former mining communities and inner city areas, before reaching the city centre and terminating at Nottingham railway station. Badged as a "historical archive of the three year construction of NET Line One and how it fits into Nottingham's transport strategy", the site is packed with interesting information; features include all the latest news, and full details about the tram system and its construction; information about the tram's operation - such as timetables and fares - is available from a separate site at http://www.thetram.net/. The NET site will certainly delight tramspotters, but anyone with an interest in modern light rail systems will find it a valuable and informative resource. Awarded a Sapling Commendation. 0lll Photographs of Architecture
 http://www.0lll.com/lud/pages/architecture/archgallery/

Notwithstanding its incomprehensible name (it's a zero and three 'L's in case you were wondering), this is an attractively designed website dedicated to the collection of photographs depicting architecture from all over the world, and includes a diverse range of popular and less-known works. The directory of buildings can be browsed by country, city or architect. The photographs are excellent quality throughout, and feature some interesting and unusual views; new projects and photographs are being added all the time. Awarded a Sapling Commendation. Transport Studies Group - University of Westminster
 http://www.wmin.ac.uk/transport/

The Transport Studies Group comprises a multi-disciplinary team of research and teaching staff within the School of the Built Environment at the University of Westminster's Marylebone Road campus in London. The design of the site is looking a little stale, but its content remains excellent - course information, a useful list of publications, comprehensive details about research projects (many with reports or summaries available to download), and a staff list. The highlight is the excellent links section, now featuring more than 1400 transport-related web links, including transport research groups at UK universities, train operators, bus companies, Passenger Transport Executives, professional bodies, interest groups, journals, and more. At the time of review, the site is in the process of being redesigned. Awarded a Sapling Commendation. [GAS, 12 Aug 2005].
