The site provides comprehensive background about the organisation's campaigns and projects, news, publications, and information from the UK regions. The site's design is bold and modern, though the dropdown menus on the main navigation panel are a little on the unwieldy side. Awarded a Sapling Commendation. [GAS, 4 Jul 2010].

 Arc! - arkitektur i bybildet
 http://www.artemisia.no/arc/

Arc! is a Norwegian site - in Norwegian - covering traditional architecture and art nouveau architecture, and is profusely illustrated throughout. Features include biographies on Norwegian architects, as well as selected architects from France, Sweden and Belgium; a presentation of Bordeaux architecture; special features on wooden architecture and churches; and a number of articles and links. While the lack of an English translation obviously limits the site's audience, it is nonetheless an engaging and interesting resource. Awarded a Sapling Commendation. [GAS, 4 Jul 2010].

LRTA - Light Rail Transit Association
 http://www.lrta.org/

This is a useful and largely up-to-date site from an organisation campaigning for better public transport through trams, tramways, streetcars and light rail transit systems. The site features sporadically updated news and information about light rail systems in the UK and abroad (including photographs), plus useful fact sheets and membership details. The highlight is the excellent page of links, with a comprehensive, up-to-date and well-researched listing of light rail websites worldwide. On the minus side, the website's interface - with the overuse of red text and slightly chaotic layout - slightly detracts from its excellent content. Awarded a Sapling Commendation.
